| Have you ever dealt with a rude breeder? I was suppose to meet a breeder this past weekend, she didn't call or email or anything. I emailed her Saturday as planned to let her know if I could meet her Sunday, no reply. Since I didn't have directions to her house yet I couldn't go. Very upset about that. Another breeder responded to my email with this "I need more details to pick the right pup for you. Size, color??" What part of "Yorkie pup, male or female as long as he/she is healthy" did she not get?? Yeah, I know I'm probably in a bad mood and taking it the wrong way but I needed to vent and I thought all yorkie pups were the same color So, I had to ask about that...then she sent one more email that read "yeah, well like I said I have pups!" LOL, needless to say I'm still looking for a breeder. I'd love to get another pup from Jersey's breeder, but her waiting list is out of control lol!

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | big RED flag! I would stay away from her. When I was looking for Kloey I went to this place and after I met with the breeders helper, and asked all my questions, we went back to the play pen where the yorkies were and then started heading back to the car, well the lady that owned the place went over to the pen and started counting the pups, I guess to make sure I didnt steal one! Lord forbid I take one of her 200 and some pups she had at this place! PUPPY MILL CITY ! Needless to say I never went back! |

| If a breeder is this nonresponsive when selling you a puppy, they definitely won't be there for you if any problems should arise. Stay clear. |

| Big red flag! There are too many good Breeders, You shouldn't have to put up with a bad one. Good Luck in your search.

| That is horrible that the breeder has done you that way. Now I certainly would not respond to her if she contacts you. And as for the other email you got that was also rude. I hope you find what your looking for and from a good reputable breeder. Good Luck in your search. Where are you located? |

| My mom had a similar problem when trying to buy a new weimaraner. She got the name of this breeder from a friend that has show weimars. This breeder is a highly respected show breeder. I emailed him to get the ball rolling and I thought he seemed cold and distant. But my mom called and talked with him and thought he was alright so she sent him a deposit and a letter of what she had in mind. He was supposed to have a litter in the first week of Dec. Come christmas we still hadn't heard anything so my mom got in touch with him again. It was the first breeding for the dog and she only had 2 pups neither of which could go to my mom. So he was supposed to have 3 litters the end of Jan. 1st part of feb. Well come the middle of Feb. we hadn't heard anything so my dad called and left a couple messages and I emailed and we got no response. My dad finally got him on his cell and was told that he had only had 3 female pups (that's what my mom wanted) but none of these were available to just a pet home (my mom was the first on the list for pet homes and wanted the runt). So we decided to look elsewhere because she couldn't stand to be without a pup anymore and we found her one in michigan that is just a sweetheart.

| onelovelylynn, I wish she did that. I really would love another little girl or boy lol I'm not picky! I gave my two week notice at work and I can't wait to be home everyday with my little brats! My husband did give me a great early birthday gift yesterday, he's been doing some breeder searching of his own...a cute little Shih Tzu! I swore I'd never have another after I lost my girl several years ago, but I guess hubby and the kids decided it was time for another. So, I have a beautiful puppy, even if it isn't another Yorkie and I'm thankful for him.

| When I called a breeder in my area to inquire about a puppy or older do that he advertised, I felt like he was trying to talk me out of getting another Yorkie. |

| Oh yes! Wait & wait only to find the pups are now all "promised" or being kept to show. Or email & get no response. Or email then fill out a big questionnaire and then no more response. Anyway, CONGRATULATIONS on your bday and the new puppy your family found for you. Sometimes the things we didn't expect bring us such joy |
