| Double the 12 week weight (aprox. of course). If a pup is less than 12 weeks old, guesstimate. I would say around 3lbs at 12 weeks would probably get you less than 7lbs full grown. Make sure to look at the parents! What do you want the pup for? Breeding? Showing? Just a pet? IMO, I wouldn't pay more than $500 for a pet. And I wouldn't pay more than $2000 for a breeding/show quality dog. Good luck! I want to hear all about your experience |

| Yes, I would love to know what their answers are, especially to the "how much is to much for a pet" Becuase $3500, 5000, etc... is a bit much for a pet....JMHO

| Browniesmom- Chachi was 1b 4 oz at 8weeks. If he stays in the estimate weight scale he will be about 6 lbs. Although breeder told me he would be less than 5.

| Weight in Prices! I'm sorry but the Breeders always tell you they will be smaller! They think that's what you want to hear, not the truth. From my experience it's less expensive if you go through a local Breeder than the Internet and less stress and hassle with the shipping etc. If you do find a local Breeder it's good to see the Parents at least one of them, plus you can see where and how they are housed (indoors with the Family? or outside in the garage?) Talking to the Breeder makes a big difference! You learn alot. The smaller they are the more you pay and the females are more than the males. And I also think it depends alot on where you live. Everythings expensive in certain places; New York, Boston, Hawaii, Beverly Hills etc. Local Want Ads Internet Price Pet Quality $800.00 to $1,200.00 $1,200.00 to $1,800.00 Show/Breeding $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 $3,000.00 to $5,000.00 People pay the prices not knowing any better, especially for so called "Teacups" and "Tiny's". The price is not a garuntee of "Quality" either so do the research on the Bloodlines! Depending on what your looking |

| Ahhhh, I love poodles, They are so smart. I have had poodles all my life, mostly miniatures. My mom had a toy. I have a blacke male standard now and he is a big love!! I was looking for a teacup poodle for my mom a while back and they were considerably less money than a yorkie!! You shouldn't have any trouble getting a quality pet in your prive range. You might even consider a yorki-poo. There are a couple of cute owned by members here! Good luck and tell us all about it! |

| Its said that if you triple the weight at 8 weeks or double at 12 weeks you should have a rough guess of what your dog will weigh..but this doesnt always work.My Jess would have stopped growing at 6lbīs if that were true, but here she is at 11 months and almost 9 lbīs..lol. About the price,I dont think Id pay more than $800 for a pet,but I guess that what each person wants or has to spend is totally up to them Good luck! |
