| Just Got Back From The Groomer Hi all, I am so mad right now ! I just brought skippy back from the groomer and they ruined my baby! Thank God it is only a temporary and that his fur will grow back but to me he looks sooooo different. What makes me angry is I told them how I wanted him groomed, let his fur grow, puppy cut face, ears tipped, belly triimed up so he does not pee on himself and feet trimmed as well as a sanitary cut on his backend. These are the results I got. I think what made me more angry than anything is they knew I was not happy with the results and they did not even try to make it right...maybe a discount on his next groom...these groomers are suppose to be the best...they lost my business... Sorry for ranting but this forum has been the best as far as getting honest yorkie answers to questions I have had concerning issues about Skippy. |

| I hear about this all the time! Some groomers have minds of their own, I think. But you know what? Skippy STILL looks so cute!

| which is exactly why...... I will not take my babies to groomers anymore! And I know there are good groomers out there but I've had the same trouble many time before...... so I decided to try to groom them myself. Not working out too well yet but I'm trying. I think some of them get clipper happy and they just end up cutting off to much ...... or they justify it by saying your baby is more comfortable this way. I have 6 dogs so I WISH i knew a groomer close by to me but I don't. I would be mad too.... |

| He still looks beautiful! But I can see why you are mad that your instructions weren't carried out.Can you have a word with the shop manager? After all it is in their best interests to get it right.Grooming costs so much--here more than my haircut! He is a georgeous boy and his hair will grow in beautifully ,i'm sure. |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Grooming these little guys must be difficult, because I've only had one cut I considered perfect in his nearly 2 years. But I agree with the others. Bald, shaggy or in between, that is one cute Yorkie you have. It sounds like you just want him shorter in a few spots. Maybe you could call back and talk to the store manager and explain that you're not happy.

| He still looks very cute. His coat will be easy to maintain. I used to take my dogs to the groomers and after several bad experiences with different groomers I went out and bought myself an expensive set of clippers. |

| I'm so sorry your upset. Skippy is very cute, I like his cut, and it will help his Adult coat come in. Princess had the same thing done, her coat came in very fast. Maybe next time you can bring a picture with you, so they will know exactly what cut/ trim you would like. I just love his little face, he's super cute!!!!

| Just got off the phone with the manager and they know I been coming in there from the time I got Skippy but I guess there is nothing they can or will do. Just gave me an apology. I come from the old school of doing business that if the customer is not happy with something the store should offer something to make it right. I do not know about you all grooming prices but here at this store its $35.00. I would have been happy if they offered me a discount on his next groom. Oh well, a lesson learned. Time to find new groomer. Thank You all for the positive feedback on how handsome Skippy is. He is right now 3 1/2 months and weighs 3 lbs so I am sure he not going to get much bigger. His attitude is way big though....lol |
