| right or wrong? well i paid to have china's surgery for her puppies but the guy who owns her wont give me any papers he says he can not because china was the only one with papers ( breeding papers akc registered ) but jo vonnie the dad to the pups is not registered as a breeder. my opinion is i like yorkies with or with out papers and the quality of them is just as good with or with out them . and i have read some threads in here that are very hurtful and the things people say are such a turn off to new commers. like me for instance , i love china and her puppies , but because i am not a breeder and had no clue what i was doing at the time , i wasnt good enough to breed ? the fist yorkie i have ever seen was china i knew nothing about her !!!!!!!!!! but now that i am going to keep one of her puppies and i still know nothing DO ALL OF YOU OPINIONATED PEOPLE THINK I SHOULD NOT KEEP A YORKIE? i can not get papers on callie so she will be just a family pet my kids love these dogs , and i would breed her with another yorkie in two years or more but that would be an expeirence for me and my kids nothing more and i would not sell them i would probly give them away to people i know that are less fortunate then others. i love yorkies dont get me wrong and i like most the people on here but dont juge any one it is not right. ow yeah and i did not breed china i saved her life !

| question What is the question? Should you keep a puppy or not? If that is the question, it would depend on your time, space, money to commit to care, how many you have or want to have as pets..it is totally up to you what you do with your puppies..Best wishes with your decision. |

| I think what she is asking is actually about the "papers" for the puppies. And this is only my opinion, but as long as you are selling them to be pets and not to be bred I really don't think the papers are that important. China is lucky to have found you and it really sounds like you are loving and caring for her and her puppies. I dont see any reason why you shouldn't keep & raise her and her puppy. Good luck in whatever you decide. Desiree |

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I don't think anybody judges anyone here, we voice are opinions but I have never said a bad word about anyone here, nor do I think anyone else has either, at least not since I came along have I heard it. Everyone here is a delight and I enjoy reading what everyone has to say, I take there opinion and go with it! Who knows, since I started the thread about breeding, someone here may have saved Kloey's life, who knows... If I would have bred her, she may not have made it, but I'm not taking that chance, so thanks to all the opinions here, I made my decision based on what I read. When you read someones message you can't read it like they are speaking, so you can't get the personality on how it was read. Like me, I'm a easy going, humerous person and I would never say a ill word about anyone on here, I don't judge you, I just tell you what I think and if people don't like it, well then they move on to the next thread. |

| You dont need papers to sell the puppies an for the one you are keeping the papers arent that important. I dont know what has happened on here that you have such a negative opinion about the forum. I think its a great bunch of people. Yes there are various opinions but if you dont like one just skip over it. I really think you need to look at the forum with fresh eyes and you would see a group that is more supportive than condecending.

| DsKeeter - Don't take people's opinions personally. Most of us don't even know other posters personally. We are just reacting to their ideas and the words they post. I think you are a loving young person and are doing a great job taking good care of your pets. As far as papers go - I could get my pup registered, but am choosing not to waste the money as he is only a pet and will be neutered soon. (I do, however, appreciate his parents being registered - and my having the right to register him if I want to). If I intended to breed my pup - I would definitely register him. I think that dogs that are breed should be registered. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- QUOTING YOU --- I would breed her with another yorkie in two years or more but that would be an expeirence for me and my kids nothing more . . . " ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I know that most of us would disagree with your thinking here. Breeding for the "experience for yourself and your kids" is, for most of us, the worst reason in the world to breed a little dog. Putting a little mother dog through this often painful or even life-threatening experience for herself or her puppies can't be justified for this reason. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- QUOTING YOU AGAIN --- ". . . and i would not sell them i would probly give them away to people i know that are less fortunate then others." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a wonderful, generous, idea - but in all reality, not feasible at all. Breeding and raising a healthy litter of little pups should, if you do all that you should do, cost you a good amount of money....as much as several hundreds of dollars per pup - or more, if your mother or pups have any problems. Few of us could afford to do this without (at least) being partially reimbursed for most of our expenses. ------ Please don't take any my remarks personally - I am only stating my opinion. I think you are a great person - with a better than average heart. There is no doubt about that! I always enjoy your posts and enjoy the stories you share with us. I think it's important that we all feel free to agree or disagree with one another. And - don't think for a minute that I have never had a lot of people totally disagree with me. This has happened several times, and, I am happy to admit that often I have learned or altered my own thinking because of it. Carol Jean |

| Hello Dskeeter1983, I just wanted to say that I am pretty new here too and have seen what you are talking about, usually in the breeders section. Well, this is my opinion, Every breeder starts somewhere, and I guarentee not all 100% of them started their breeding programs knowing ALL there is to know and will never know ALL there is to know, but they have forgotten that part while there doing there attacks, But the good thing is there are very few that I HAVE seen on YT that do act that way. Most of them are very nice and seem to be VERY caring. You just have to let the attacks go in one ear and out the other, and find someone on here to direct your question that seems to be very nice and has given POLITE advice in the past. I think the ones doing the attacking of the innicent newcommers probably have a few skeletons of there own hidden away in there closets. And I say if ya want to breed your dog, breed it. Just ask your local vet for advice, get books from the library, read up and anything else and anything else you can get your hands on so you wont have any problems. And most of all ask your vet if she will be ok to breed before doing so. I think giving the pups to the less fortunate is great as long as you know the people that you are giving them to will be a very good LIFE LONG parents. |

| ok ok i was not juging anyone i was giving an opinion like everyone else and if you dont believe me on how mean some can be on here , look for a thread called deadbeat breader . and you will find out why i think that some here are very jugementle. i am not the one who bred china she isnt even my dog i have to give her back. i get to keep a puppy and no i dont want to have papers but it would be nice if i could get them just in case i wanted them. i saved chinas life even though she is not my dog but i have to give her and the lil boy pup back to its original owner when the pups are 8 weeks old. i like everyone here i just think it would be a better place if we reworded what we said to people when they ask questions . i know people say things and they dont even realize how the words come out untill they look at it later.

| I have found that most of the harsh remarks are between people who have a history that we don't know about. Rarely are any of them directed at newcomers. But when you take a stand on anything, be prepared to have someone challenge it. If the challenges are meaning and informing, it is a good thing, then we all learn. If they are harsh and insulting then no one learns anything except to steer clear of that member. |
