| What's your Yorkie's favorite Brand of Food I've tried Eukanuba and Iams, and Olloie doesn't like either of those. I have given her a cheaper food, either Beneful or Pedigree, can't remember which one I had on hand for my daughters dogs. Anyway, she loved the cheap brand, but I want her on a good quality food since I plan to breed her. I'm going to get Nutro tonight and try that. What do your Yorkies like? |

| Hobbs loves Pro Plan. I tried to switch him to Nutro by mixing it in with his Pro Plan, but he would pick the Pro Plan out and eat it, and all that would be left in his bowl would be Nutro!! If he accidentally got any Nutro in his mouth, he would spit it out! Can you believe that?! He is crazy! I want to switch him to Innova, but I am scared he won't like it and I will be stuck with an expensive bag of dog food!!! I will probably just stick to the Pro Plan. |

| Max and Abbie LOVE California Natural Lamb Meal and Rice dry dog food. I buy the largest bag (I think it's 30 lbs) and it lasts about 5 months. Max had always been a finicky eater until I switched to California Natural. I used to give them Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier and Abbie liked it but she couldn't tolerate it after a while so my vet recommended a food that has lamb as the primary ingredient--he said it's better for dogs with "sensitive stomachs." |

| All of mine love Nutro Max. Bobby, my Yorkie pup, refuses to eat any brand of puppy food, grrrrrrr, even Nutro Puppy! I bought my other dogs the Nutro regular-sized chunks, which are pretty big, thinking it would force Bobby to eat the puppy food. Nope! He'll crunch on the big chunks for as long as it takes to eat them. On another thread, Crystal recommended I try Innova because you can feed it to adults and pups. I sure hope everyone likes it! | Loki loves Canidae too. It's a premium food recommended by the Whole Dog Journal. Try Merrick Brand, they got best food of the year. Innova and Wellness are great brands too.

| If you try Merrick, buy the smallest bag possible. Mine won't touch it. I've tried to sneak it in with the other food but they eat around it. Thankfully, I just bought a small bag but it was still $10. I hope the pets at the animal shelter like it cuz that's where it's going! Julie |

| Georgie loves The Honest Kitchen and California Natural oh and human food of course Oh and California Natural isn't much more expensive than Iams and has no fillers in it. Candidae and Verus are great as well.

| I feed my two yorkies Back to Basics (chicken and pork), which was recommended by their breeder. For variety, I also give them Royal Canin Mini Special (#30) for sensitive and fussy small breeds. Does anyone else use Back to Basics?
