| Puppy eating hair... help Hi, I have really long hair...and I shed a lot. I vaccuum ALL THE TIME, but my puppy still seems to find it & eat it. sometimes she has trouble getting her poop out. Either it hangs from her butt, with a strand of hair connected to it, or it only comes out a teeny bit, and she runs around with it sticking out for a long time. I'm worried, cuz it actually happens quite often. i was wondering... does anyone know if this is dangerous to her? could it do something to her insides? or is the hair harmless to her? usually it's just a strand, not a glob of hair or anything. I don't know what to do though.. i really do vaccuum a lot. If anyone has had experience with this... please reply... thanks! |

| Gus has had that happen a few times. I think it happens less now because he is no longer a puppy testing everything with his mouth. I wouldn't think it would be dangerous since it's not clumps of hair but I would ask your vet about it to be sure. Hopefully, it will happen less as she gets older like mine.

| My bunny did the same thing when she was little. I think it just BC their going through the eat everything stage. Bunny is now 1 and she dose not do it any more. I guess she grew out of it. |
