| Have you tried the panties that look like skirts? I think tinkerbellscloset might have some. Just a thought.

What a good Mommy! These pups do NOT like to be left behind and they travel really well so you are doing the right thing. Where does she potty at home? Keep a diaper on her and keep her on a leash near you so you can control the situation. It's really easy. If she is wee pad trained I will tell you more about how I handle it. good luck

I agree, I'd go the diaper and panty route. Never heard of the ones that look like skirts. I'll have to check them out. And think how cute she'll be.

Well, at home you need to confine her to an expen until she learns to potty there. Do you have an ex pen? They are great for travel too b/c they fold up flat. Keep her in there on a tile floor or something protecting the carpet. (use it at your mom's house too) when she isn't in there don't let her run free. keep her on a leash, by your side. this is the garment she can wear to be sure there aren't any accidents. http://www.petco.com/Shop/ProductLis...2+129+30+10270 Maybe this trip will help with the potty training. Good luck!

Kari - I just finished posting this on another site - maybe it will help you. I have about 3 dozen thin, inexpensive washclothes - the kind you can buy in a bundle (at Walmart, K-mart, etc.) I fold them in a diagonal - elongated manner (leaving them 3 or 4 inches wide -whatever!) I wrap them tightly around my pup and pin them with a diaper pin. (They are folded on the bias -so I wrap them quite tight initially. Otherwise they will be off in a few minutes.) These go right into the wash with my other laundry. I especially love these when we go visiting. I can let my pup run around in other people's houses without worrying. I don't use a pad in them - but I'm sure you could. If your pup pees "a lot" using two two washclothes would certainly be another option. I'm playing with and handling my dog constantly - and change the "washcloth" everytime it feels wet. (You can wipe him off with a baby wipe if you wish). I have never had any problems with any type of rash or irritation - and am able to keep him dry almost 100% of the time. He never smells like pee. I have purchased bellybands before. They are expensive and I like my washclothes much better. They are inexpensive and washable, and they aren't bulky --- plus they look better. And, I know if I have them under any clothes that my dog wears - you don't even know they're there. **** Use these a few days at home before you go anywhere. You'll get used to using them and will be amazed how well they work. Good luck! Carol Jean

I do think the doggie panties would work great although after reading about the wash clothes that is a very inexpensive way to go. Your such a good mommy for not wanting to leave your girl at home. Mine go with me also as I would not go if they couldn't go.

tonee goes with us everytime we go, and everyone welcome her. i just clean up behind her just in case. we use panties also. and i have just read that pads from hospitals and nursing homes are better than puppy pads. something about them not having the plastic on the back that they can chew and it said they are washable don't know about that but, may be something to look into.
