| Neo & Maggie friends? After about a month of chasing, growling, barking, and biting I finaly caught them chasing each other (playing together)i even caught them sleeping together. The other day it was so cute they were side by side and i was rubbing both of their bellys as they lay upside down. She has also learned for the most part not to steal Neos food.I cant wait till it warms up because she has never been outside.

| Yeah!!! I'm so glad they have decided to be friends! I have a 3 month old maltese that I just brought home a couple of days ago to my 4 month old yorkie who plays really rough, I'm hoping the newness starts to wear off and they can start to be friends...I'm worried that they won't get a long...what was your experience with this? Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks |

| It just takes time. When a new furbaby enters the home, they are not sure if your here as a guest, or a forever loving best friend. Most of the time it's a really fast adjustment, but sometimes it can take a few weeks. But they do learn how to share, and they find out it's kind of cool to have a playmate to play with when Mom is busy.

I agree because it took Neo a month to get where he is and he still growls and bites her sometimes.I just got it now where he dont do it all the time.I also give Neo a little one on one attention too.Like extra treats, extra bye bye time, extra belly rubs,ect....Maggie still gets alot of love and doesnt notice Neo getting more than her.
