Pee in sleep ok so moshi sleeps in bed with me every night. But recently he is wetting the bed in his sleep and doesn't even realize it. i asked the vet about it and they said it probably just hormones....anybody else experience something like this? I have such a wierd puppy, he barks at strangers all the time and thinks he is part cat as he likes to walk on the window ledge, sit there, and look outside.

How old is Moshi? Maybe he's too young. Most puppies at 2 months til about 6 months (at least that's what my vet and breeder informed me) need to have their bladders "trained". That's why some people (like myself) leave them to sleep in their crate. They shouldn't pee in their crate because it's their instinct not to. I do like, however, take Aggie out in the morning (after she's done her businesses) to cuddle with her in my bed. It is one of the most enjoyable way to start any morning!

My pup has been good about not wetting during the night. He started sleeping with me when I brought him home (at 8 weeks) and slept very well for 6 or 7 hours from the first night on. However - he often wakes up before I do - and the times he has wet, I think it is after he woke up. So -- I put a belly band on him at night (just a washcloth - pinned with a diaper pin) - just in case. This way - even though he's good almost all the time - if he isn't, it's not a problem. PS: Being able to use bellybands - is the male reason I got a little boy. I would like to say my guy is potty trained during the day - but he's not. He uses his pee pads - but definitely not all the time. Carol Jean
