Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | ?Sewing Patterns For Yorkies (Sizing) Does others here sew for there yorkies, I was wanting to know if the sizing on the patterns are pretty true to what the measurements say? I got several patterns so that I can start sewing for Baby Blessing but the x-small looks kinda big. Does anyone know of any patterns that can be gotten besides the ones in the pattern books at the stores? I designed and knitted sweaters for her and so far she loves wearing them, they are knitted without the leg openinigs, and she seems to bounce around in them with no problem she loves the fun fur ones. Has anyone designed their own sewing patterns for their yorkies. Thanks. Patti and ~Baby Blessing~ |

| More than likely you will have to adjust the pattern. I had to do that with sophie. One pattern that was x-small was to big and the next x-small was too small. I always cut that pattern out and hold it up to sophie and adjust form there. Have fun.

Our Blessings R Many Donating Member | Thanks ever so much Fast Eddie for the information on the sites, I have bookmarked each of them and then went to them and bookmarked all the others that I found :-) I cut one out from a pattern I got through pattern book at Jo Ann Fabrics, it was an X-Small but like you said tsehasd ,I had to do a lot of adjusting for it to fit properly. Those sites you sent Fast Eddie are really great, Thanks again. Baby Blessing loves to wear the sweaters I knitted hope she will like the sewing things as well. Patti and ~Baby Blessing~ |
