| Collar, Harness, Both, Neither? I've had Jazzie for 8 years and she has never worn a collar. Only a harness when we go out. Jewel wears a collar with a bell so we can hear her when she has a seizure. She wears a harness for her walks. What do you? Can anyone recommend a collar that will not snag and tangle her hair?

| At first I used a collar but soon change to harness. I really like the harness more because of the whole trachea issue so intended to keep it this way. |

| I have found that silk does not snag and tangle the hair. I make silk collars, if you are interested, send me a pm and I will give you details. I also make silk step in harnesses. |

| Bugaboo doesn't wear either. I would like to put him in a harness so I don't have to carry his lil butt around.hehe

| KimMee wears a harness when outdoors but nothing indoors unless she is in one of her defiant moods. Then on goes the harness with the leash and she settles down and behaves But she has gotten outside three times this month- our backdoor needs a new latch - so I am thinking about putting a collar on her for fear of her getting out of the yard. She is micro chipped but I don't think many people would think of that if they found her. |

Could you PLEASE send me the "How To" on the silk harness? I need one for Mitzi and as you know, I can't buy anything for her here. I would be SO grateful. If I could make her a harness, I can take her out for proper walk time. It will make so much difference to her happiness if she can learn to enjoy being outside At the moment she is just managing a trip in the car and from the car door to our chosen destination. She is a non-walker on the leash. Believe me, we've tried every trick in the book, but she just sits!

| moose and lil bear wear harnesses when walking outside. I try my best to remind my parents to put their collars on in the morning but I do come home to collerless dogs a lot. I bought them the lilupin(sp) collar, leash, and harness.

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | My girls don't wear anything indoors, and when we got out they wear harnesses!! No collars for us as I am afraid they will choke themselves on something!! And we have several different types of harnesses...anything from the actual harnesses to the vests harnesses from Joy!!!
