| This may not be a good shampoo, but I have been using one from PetsMart, Petco or Wal-Mart (can't remember where I got it) and I know it is not expensive....it is something like "Hartz" for sensitive and dry hair/skin. It smells soooo super good (and that smell lasts awhile). It is a clear shampoo and has microbeads that burst when you scrub it. It has left his hair super soft and shiny and sweet smelling for a long time! I really like it - for now, until I find something else that we like just as well - or read some one elses ideas on shampoo's.

| From my experiences, Hartz is not the best shampoo. I know from experience, and trust me, Chris Christenson is worth the extra money. Besides, I won't even touch any product made by Hartz. Have you seen this page? http://www.hartzvictims.org/ I know most of its about cats, but because of it, I wont support that company, or IAMS for that matter.

| Don't Be Sorry For Asking Questions. That's what YT is here for. Back to your question I use Oatmeal shampoo on my yorkies and a Ultra silk conditioner.

Ok, never using Hartz after looking at that web site! I actually use a soapless shampoo on Gracie most of the time. The vet recommened it because normal shampoos with soap will wash off the flea drops. I give her a really good bath with the normal shampoo before applying the drops and inbetween fleaing I use the soapless shampoo. It works great and she looks just as good!

| Thanks for the heads up (I have forwarded that site to everyone). I have found other sites as well and it is not just Hartz products or all of Hartz products (which really doesn't matter).....The items recalled or that have caused problems (in all the brands) were the flea and tick products (collars, spray, once a month drops, shampoo's, foggers, etc). Here are a few websites that go into detail..... http://www.judyshealthcafe.com/artic...tzmountain.htm www.nrdc.org/health/effects/pets/execsum.asp www.epa.gov/pesticides/factsheets/alpha_fs.htm www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/avictim.htm vcabbyw - What symptoms did you have with your pets using Hartz and were you using the flea and tick shampoo's? I have never been concerned with spending money on my Mojo....so that was never an issue here. I can not remember if this shampoo was recommended by someone or how I started using it. Mojo has never had any symptoms (as posted on some of the websites listed above) regarding the shampoo. It is Hartz Living Infusions w/ vitamin beads (A&E) for sensitive skin (moisturizes dry flaky skin). I think these products being recalled (only the flea/tick items) or like the food products that were recalled awhile back....it was just certain types of the food and not all of the foods from that brand/company were recalled...I know I read many posts of people still using food from that brand/company, even though some of the foods had been recalled (not the type they used, but others types from the same brand/maker/company). I think that is the case here, as well. BUT I am the type that freaks out about these things (even if there are no signs of any problems), so I will be on the hunt for new shampoo too!
