| There tail is to be docked but there is a specific legth that must me followed. They are not to be docked at the base, which is what your question sounds like. |

| Most of the Yorkies do have docked tails and can still wag them. Please don't feel stupid...No need at all. Some countries don't allow tail docking. The Yorkies look awesome with or without their tails.

| You don't have to dock the tails, but I believe the length is approximately 1/3 stays on. It is done on approximately day 4. I actually like them a little longer, they wag so fast!
