| LOL When I first saw the post, I thought that someone else had a username like mine! I don't even remember writing this. That's why it's neat when people bring up old posts.

| Pixie turned 6 months old on the 4th december, i weighed her that day and she was 2lbs 7oz. I really really hope she gains another 1lb or so..her size scares me to death! My guess is she is gaining about an oz a week.

| My baby was a little shy of 2 pounds when we got him; he was 5 months old at the time. Now he is a healthy, not to mention less delicate and fragile, 4.5 pounds at 14 months. I am SO SO SO SO glad he doubled in size - I was a wreck when he weighed less. |

| I found this site doing a google search trying to see when Yorkies generally stop growing. I have Yorkie that is 4 yrs & 9 mos. old and weighs a little under 5 pounds. We now have a new puppy that is now 5-1/2 months old and weighs barely over 2.5 pounds and I am hoping that she gets up to at least 3.5 pounds - I would have liked her to be at least 4 but I don't think she is going to get there. I take the dogs to a husband and wife vet team and one thinks she will get to 3 pounds the other 3.5 pounds. We'll see! |

| My Roxi is about 10 & 1/2 months old and is 2.8lbs.... I thought she might gain some weight after she was spayed in March, but NOPE!!! She has only gained a few oz. since March!! I want her to at least get to 3lbs!! She's really little....

YT Addict | My baby weights 1 lb 15 oz and is a couple days short of 12 wks old. His mom and dad were both 4lbs. I guess he'll be about the same size. According to the puppy growth chart it says he'll be between 4 and 4 1/2 lbs. I hope that is true! I think that's a great size! |

| Both of mine have grown after they turned a year old. My Max is 9lbs now and he was 3lbs at 13 weeks. My Mia is 6lbs now and was 2lbs at 10 weeks. It all depends on family history - just like us And there's always going to be a small and large one in every litter.

| Bella is 20 1/2 weeks old and weighs exactly 2lbs. This doesn't seem to be a popular opinion but if she didn't get any bigger it wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. She is healthy as can be, runs up the custom pet stairs onto the bed, plays like a demon and holds her own with the other dogs in the family, and goes literally every place I go - yes, even to the doctor, grocery and restaurants. I have an array of bags to take her in and since she has gone her whole life, so far so good on behavior. Our Romeo stayed around 3lbs until he was nutered last year and now he is about 5lbs. He will be 5 years old next month. I haven't had Bella spayed yet and have been on the fence about it because of some of the horror stories I have read here but will probably do it before her first heat. Romeo and Bella's Mom |

| I did a thread to find answer to the same question. I'm so new here, I can't figure out how to add my pics to the side. My boy is Mason and he's just a few days shy of 6 mos old. He's exactly 4.8 lbs (weighed him this morning) and he's very happy, bouncy, gets lots of excercise. He goes to doggy daycare 3 x week and gets socialized to other pups. He loves it, I love it. I get a break to clean and my two cats, Otis and Milo get to roam the house free without the "thing" biting at their ankles and ears. We're working on that very hard. (Any suggestions would be great). Samantha |

| Tinker is 2 1/2 years and weighs 4.5 pounds. Tia is 5 months and she is already 5.1 pounds. I guess it depends on the breed. But I love both their size. They say that the smaller sizes are more prone to get sick but Tinker is very active and tuff....lol |
