| Not sure what to do So I wrote on Friday about my dog going into heat... I bought those panties for her so we wouldn't have a mess around the house. Well it is the third day and she still won't move when I put the pants on her. She either just stands there or will lie down. Then she whines if I leave the room she is in and she will for nothing move. It's been ok for the weekend because I am here to take them off of her through out the day and take her out and let her run around. But I have to go back to work tomorrow and I won't be here to make sure she eats and drinks water. Also to take them off so she can use the puppy pads. I'm new to all this. And info on how this should work would be great. Thanks, Jp and Diva |

| Do you keep her in a cage when you are at work? I would probably skip the diaper and just use old towels to throw around. She shouldn't get too messy. Just use the panties while you are home. Mine won't walk if I put pants on them either, it's just the stubborn baby in them. I have two who won't jump up on the couch if I am sitting there. They stand at my feet and make this tiny crying noise. If I'm not there, they jump right up. Robyn won't come off my bed, even though there is a chair she can climb down. She will stand there crying forever and falls flat as soon as I walk in with that most pitiful look It's just personality.

| Maybe she doesn't like the liner in them. Are they the kind that you put a pad in? Does she wear any other clothes and still play?

| That is the problem.. she has the run of the house when I am not home. I think I may just shut her in my room and cover the Bed with Towels. She usually does ok with clothes. It takes her a minute to realize she can play in them but she always wears a coat or shirt when we go out for walks. The panties are the kind that you put the pad in. I just can't believe I have to deal with this for 21 days. I guess that is my punishment for not being proactive and getting her spayed earlier! Thanks for the help! JP and Diva |

| How big is she? When the boys were fixed, I got them the newborn onsies. They still ran funny and did not go potty with them on, but they were cute and functional.

| Is she bleeding that much, Polly didn't. I put the panties on her , but like Diva she didn't like them. I was lucky with Polly she only got a spot on the bed sheets. Good luck.
