| Leaving the Monkeys! Need help with a list! OK, I'm going away for work and am leaving the monkeys with a girl from their daycare (who I trust completely) for 4 days next week. I have never left them in 2 years so I'm in a mad panic. I have made her a short novel of things such as food, emergency numbers, treats, sleeping arrangements, what do do when she leaves them, etc. What would you want to know if you were watching them? Anything I'm forgetting? thanks for the input! |

| Just let their dogysitter remember to keep them calm and play with them a lot cuz they will probably be a little stressed when they first get there a new environment that their not used to and to keep them from going into panic mode your dogysitter needs to just keep her calm hope that helps a little |

You will crack up but I draw a picture off where I feed each dog and the order I put their food down and where I stand so there is not any problems with someone stealing another dogs food. I also have a list that goes through each dog and where they normally hang out and what their normal day is like, i.e. Shelby loves to live in the closet (don't worry), Sassy loves her bed behind the couch (don't worry) and so on. I tell her not to worry and always err on the side of safety. They will survive.

| We've never left Mojo since we have had him....dreading when that day comes. But I had a Shih-tzu for a few years and had to leave him a few times, with my in laws. I sent a pillow case or t-shirt I slept in for him (that way, he could smell me), plus, his own bed, bedding, etc. I also sent tons of toys and a few favorite chewys (so he wouldn't get bored and in hopes he wouldn't chew on anything of theirs). I also made a print out of EVERYTHING too.....I wrote what to feed him if he wasn't feeling well or eating (chicken w/ broth, rice in food, etc) and absolutely no human food (other then what was mentioned). What he was allergic too (he was sickly fellow), etc. I also made it very clear that he was to always be on his leash anytime he went outside! I know we all worry about leaving our babies, but if you have a good person and have a good list for them, try not to worry....have a good time on your trip and when you get back, expect lots of Yorkie kisses!!!

| I'm sure you have everything they need. You might want to tell her the little places they like to be scratched and the lil nicknames they have. Good Luck
