| My baby wants to share his "hunting" traits with me............YUCK!!!!!!!!! Well, this is the 3rd time my puppy has done this to me. He keeps carrying in these dead animals. He prances around with it in his mouth and doesn't want to drop it. First 2 were dead mice and this last one was a dead rat. The rat he finally agreed to "drop it" on my couch. Needless to say I had one heck of a screaming fit. Family thought something major had happened. I am not quite sure if the cat is doing the killing and the dog is doing the showing off or what. AND then he thinks I want a kiss from him after all of this. Is he crazy? I am about to go crazy about all of this. Anyone else's baby do this?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I would die if Cali ever brought me a dead mouse or rat! Cali doesn't go aout so hopefully I won't have to ever deal with that. I guess he's going back to his roots as a ratter! He probably thinks he's doing a good thing!!!

| My little Trina caught a mouse in our house a couple of months ago! I am so proud of her, but it was one awful night. I am not normally the squimish type, but every time I saw it I would squeal! When she caught it I was screaming. My husband chased her to her cage and bopped the mouse, carried it outside on their bed and tried to toss it over the fence from the bed. It fell into the flowerbed and 'Trina-to-the-rescue!' She grabbed it and brought it back to me (screaming again). I gave him a plastic lid from dog treat which he scooped the dormant mouse onto and finally tossed it over the fence. HOORAY!! My Hero!

| That is cute because he is "proving himself" to you....he is saying "look what I got for you today". Our German Shepard does this all the time....she gets moles and brings them to us. Our little guy, Mojo, doesn't get things like that. He does try to chase squirrels and birds, but he has never gotten anything.

| He is doing what Yorkies were bred to do long ago. But tell him It's okay now. You don't need and exterminator.

| Guess what! He did it AGAIN last night!!!! I am beside myself with this situation. We actually think he is catching them himself. The cat was in the house all day yesterday. When my husband let them out he saw them head straight for this high grass in pursuit of something. Now I have seen this little chubby boy run and let me tell you, it isn't fast at all. How he catches them is beyond me. I almost had to wrestle this one from him because he has definitely figured out the routine. I let go, mom takes it away and I never see it again. My gosh!!!!!!
