| Anyone know this breeder? Does anyone have any experience with www.enchantedbabies.com? Located in Bloomfield, Indiana. Considering buying a little guy from her. |

| They are awfully cute! The pricing seems good, too. She sure has a lot of pups. Do you live near enough to visit? maybe someone here will know her

| I guess that's the thing that concerns me; she has a lot of dogs. It would be a 3-4 hour drive, and I'd hate to make the trip if she's a kennel. |

| That is a long drive. Have you spoken to her? It would make a nice day trip, if you like to drive, and I certainly don't think that is too many dogs for a person to have if they have the proper facilities. I have six and when I get crazy I can imagine more. (not on bathday - today)

| With that many boys that she uses for breeding - she has to keep them up and away from each other and image when the girls are in heat. So with that many she has to be doing something to avoid accidents and to know which one is the sire, to say nothing about keeping her house clean of pee. She has cute pups (ears could be smaller on some and hair trimmed off tips of ears). I wonder how small her females are that she breeds to - since she states "Specializing in Tiny Yorkshire Terriers?" Her health guarantee seems to be okay, but I would ask for it in writing with a contract. I would also want to know the pedigrees on them - to know the lineage and history. Nice pictures though! Let us know how it goes. T. Last edited by topknot; 02-12-2006 at 07:14 AM. |

| Is there a place she can check if they have a USDA license? Would this means she keeps them in a kennel?

| This is one of the breeders I have been considering for my seecond puppy. like to know the size of her females they look really small. I do not like how some breeders are now targeted for tiny yorkies . |

I just have two Yorkies, so I can only imagine the work of 6 or more! I'd love to have 5, (of course, like you, on bath day I have second thoughts, I vow , "no more".) But I know I'd never be able to keep them all in long coats, as I do my girls, now, and I have a passion for these long coats.

Yes, I agree, some of the pups have big ears. I, personally, like a tiny ear. Yes, I would want to know the pedigree's and lineage. Hubby mentioned to me this morning, that he would really prefer not to buy a 6 month old male. Says more than likely this will be our last baby, (at our ages) and he'd like to go through "puppy-hood" again. (See why I love this guy?)

It's good to be concerned, because a "throw-back" could kill the Dam. My little Kia is 4#s, and I would never dream of breeding her, because she didn't come from tiny lines. She was just a small puppy.

| I have not heard of this breeder, but if I were you I would call and ask her if her dogs are kept inside her house or outside. This would help in knowing if she is a kennel. Also many breeders have several studs and I am sure they are kept away from the females in heat. Or at least I would hope because no one wants accidents to happen. Mine are kept seperate, because if not then accidents would happen and then of course the males will fight..... |
