| We had to relocate a raccoon a few years ago and our first Yorkie, Little Man Tate...AKA Booger...watched with great interest as we set the trap. We baited with canned cat food, set the door and headed for bed. No sooner than we hit the pillow we heard the clang of the door and at the same time we both said 'Where's Boog?' The little stinker snuck out his doggie door, went for the cat food and trapped his little bitty butt inside! He was standing there hanging his head in shame and all we could do was laugh! He was so embarrassed but he never went near the trap again. The live trap doesn't hurt animals by the way...he was fine. Then there's the time he fell asleep on the arm of the couch and rolled off into the garbage can...or the time he got brave and stepped over onto the end table and got stuck because he was afraid to step back to the couch. Gee...I think there are too many to have a favorite...life with Boog was interesting! |

Eddie and Jack have new 'best' stories everyday, so it's hard to choose. One that comes to mind is the time he refused to come in the house when I had him out in the front yard. He ran away from me and thought he was soooo funny. Well, he walked into the flower bed, stepped on a stray stick and it popped up and hit him in the nose. He leaped straight up, turned around in midair and sprinted into the house. That'll teach him, I thought.

| Just the other night, I was getting ready for bed, changing clothes in our walk in closet. I keep a pile of jeans on the floor at the end of the closet. Just out of the corner of my eye, I see a snake slither from the clothes pile. Well, as you can imagine I jumped sky high and squealed. Just as I hit the floor, I noticed the "snake" was a little black button on the end of a tan hairy.......... yep, you guessed it - my "snake" was a Rowdy snake. He sometimes curls and sleeps up on top of the jeans pile and I guess he did without my knowing it. I think he was coming out and was stretching from napping and was flat on the floor and just slowly moving forward in the flat stretch. To my quick glance, I was SURE it was a snake!!!

| Here's one- I like to put confetti in Birthday Cards, most people have learned if you get a card from me- open it over the sink. Well, I was recently unpacking from an overseas stint. I open my box of stationary and little one is nosing around in it. Next thing I know she has the envelope of confetti and is shaking it, then when I try to get it- she runs throughout the house thinking she has a great prize. I am still finding confetti and everyone who I ever sent a card to- I got pay back. |

| I lost my puppy two days ago for about an hour. I was frantic. It turned out that she had walked into the toilet as I was leaving and decided to take a nap. I cant figure out how she got by me without me seeing her!! LOL I think she's a secret agent pup or something. Covert stuff! LOL |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | funny stories ! Here's one that came to mind.... Lots of you know how much Chanel LOVES the water hose. Last year ...I put the hose up after she played for a long time while I took some pictures.....I went into the house to get a towel ...came back out and didn't see her. I knew exactly where she was & what she was doing. She was on the side of the house jumping up trying to get the water back ON. I had my camera still and thought I'd take more shots of her Sure enough - she jumped up - grabbed the nozzel of the hose which was 4 FEET off the ground - had it in her mouth...but the next thing... I was NOT expecting was she actually SQUIRT me with water ! Here I am holding a $1200 Camera... and MY Yorkie is squirting ME with the water hose ? She got the camera and ME soaking wet. Believe me...I did NOT share this story with my husband - he still doesn't know. |

| Chachi has been going to the vets often lately like every 10 days to be dipped for mites and to get shots and meds for allergies. He has started to hate going to the vets and knows when he is there. You cant get him out of his crate. My husband turns his crate so it wass completely upside down and he still couldnt get him out. He lodges himself in there.

| My funny story that still makes me laugh to think of... When Lil Bit was early in her pregnancy....my daughter had her Hamster in the hamster ball, letting the hamster 'run' around the kitchen. My cats of course, were fascinated...ummm.. STALKING the hamster ball...Well, I guess Lil Bits momma instincs kicked in and she was Protecting her 'baby' in the ball. Lil Bit charged into the kitchen, little teeth bared and put herself between the hamster ball and cats. She wouldn't let the cats near the ball. It was just sooooo funny watching her protect the 'baby' hamster. |

| I've loved reading all these stories!! Kelli used to love to chase our cat, CoCo. CoCo was the only house-pet we had for about 12 or 13 years, well, not counting birds. We figured since he was older and more tame, it would be okay to get another pet 'cause he certainly didn't act as psycho as he used to, lol. We have plants that we bring inside every winter and take outside again in the spring, and CoCo LOVES to feast on them. Kelli caught on QUICK that this was a no no and every time she saw CoCo slink into the living room and go for the wall where most of the plants were, she'd STALK him in almost the same manner that he was walking into the room with! She would wait for the PERFECT moment and then ZOOM...she'd be off the couch and chasing him around until she chased him out of the room. We'd never seen her little feet move so fast the first time she did it, LOL! After that, all we'd have to do is say "get that cat!" and she'd take off and chase him out of the room before he could do anything, lol. Kelli also had an affection for humping. I think she did it more out of excitement as she never humped her toys and would ONLY try to hump Spanky or CoCo when she was trying to play with them. I say trying because I think both of them were afraid of her, LMAO, she was a wild little girl! One time I left her in the living room and I hadn't realized that CoCo was in there too. I go into the kitchen which is just the next room over and I hear this little meow. I look all around because usually that means that Co has his toy in his mouth and is wandering around the house. I see him nowhere...until I get in the living room and Kelli has him PINNED ON THE FLOOR and is just going to town humping him! He was just laying there! I had to go and pull her off of him! He just got up, shook his fur out, and walked away like nothing happened, lol. With Bella, she's just learning all kinds of new things and she LOVES to destroy her pen so she's a constant source of amusement, but I NEVER laughed so hard at her as I did last night. We finally got the doggy steps that we ordered for her to get on the couch, chair, and bed (which she ALREADY knows how to use!!) and we'd put them together, but hadn't picked up the plastic wrapper that they came in or the box off the floor. It was laying by the side of the chair. Sitting on the couch, I can't see the side of the chair that she was on so as I was getting up to check on her, here she comes tearing past the couch with the plastic in her mouth and trailing behind her was the rest of it plus the doggy step instructions! Hysterical when you see her size in comparison to how big the rest of it is! She finally stopped and let me take it from her but not before she shook it a few times and tried to turn it into her new toy!
