| Was this spite? Ok so when its really cold out, I have to fight with Daisy to stay outside to do her business. All 5 lbs of her really pulls me hard to get back to the door. well we werne't outside 30 seconds this mroning when she's pulling me back. She hadnt had her long morning pee or anything yet, so I said no way and had to give a few light tugs for her to follow me. we were out there almost 10 minutes! (already running late taking boys to school) and she finally gave in and pooped. Still hadn't peed yet..gave a few more minutes, then had to go back inside. I go down the hall to my kids room to get something..she follows me....and walks right over to a playstaion game case thats on the floor and PEES ON IT!! I was sooooo mad! And she knew it! Was this spite or what? Just didn't add to my already bad day Sorry for the vent............

| Unfortunately Lady does this ALL the time and it drives me nuts too! I also think its out of spite She poops and pees all over the house when my husband is home (he kisses up on her when I scold her so she thinks shes being praised for it!) and when hes a work I have to confine her in the bathroom with a clean peepad every time I think she needs to potty. Sometimes she is confined for up to 3 hours and when I let her out because I think she just doesnt NEED to go,she pees right infront of me then runs BACK into the bathroom where she had already been confined 3 hours!! I have started to take no notice of her and Im hoping itīll work. |

| Although it may seem like it, dogs do not act out of spite, they don't understand the concept. If you react angrily when coming across an accident, they will only equate elimination with mad mom and be even more reluctant to do this in front of you. Confinement and reward and patience will get you a well trained dog in the end. There is a training method on my site that I adapted from info someone sent me a while ago and it has been very successful. www.sylvanyorkies.com

| No, like Stacy said, not spite. She prefers to go inside when it's cold, Mom, thank you very much! Better make going outside more rewarding for her!!!

| You know I think gizmo peed in my kids room yesterday because he was mad at me! He had to go get some teeth pulled, and when we got home, I took him out to potty, he did go a little bit. And then we came back inside, and he just went over to his bed. About five minutes later, he walked right in and peed on the boys floor. And I know it wasn't because he was drugged, b/c when my friend came over, he went running up to play with her. But wanted nothing to do with me!
