| Pet Sitter Does anyone know of a good, reputable pet sitter in the Atlanta, GA area? My husband and I want to go on a vacation, but refuse to put our Lillie in a kennel. |

| I have the same problem coming up this summer when we go to Georgia on Vacation. I'm very overprotective with my dogs and hate having them boarded or with anyone I know. My frinds have small grandkids and are not accustomed to watching out for small dogs, my moms health isn't great and I worry about her dropping one of them and her tripping over them and breaking her hip. I'm already strssing over it and we don't leave until July. I have always worried about it and have even thought of opening my own babysitting service for small dogs, because I know where people are coming from on this :-)

| I don't know of anyone specific in the Atlanta area, but if you travel through Chattanooga (or would like to meet), I'd be more than happy to take care of your furbaby. I do petsitting for smaller dogs (just b/c I love them so much!) in my home. Also, since I work in a grooming shop people like to know they'll get their dog back freshly bathed and brushed and in good shape. I've heard and seen too many horror-stories from people putting their dogs in kennels (especially long hair dogs having to be shaved down) over vacation. If you're interested, feel free to send me a private message or e-mail me (lilbumbleybees@yahoo.com). Atlanta is a place I travel to often for fun (and for the Yorkie meetups every month) so I'd be happy to come meet you one day so you can get to know a little bit more about me. Other than that, I'd say contact your groomer or a very reputable doggie daycare in the area and ask for people who petsit out of their home. Hope that helps you!
