What to do with her hair?! I have a 2-1/2 year old female yorkie and boy do I just love her to pieces! Until recently I haven't a clue as to what to do with her hair..last I had her groomed (3-4months ago) she had a "puppy cut" and then a few weeks ago I thought I'd give it a shot it is starting to grow out a bit but the problem is her bangs..I love how everyone puts their hair in little ponytails but she still has a bunch that fall down right in front of her eyes... How long will it take to grow these out and any other ideas on how to do her hair now??Thanks! Christina

HI! I'm from Michigan too!! What city are you in? A lot of us have the same problem, You can put just regular very small latex rubber bands (colored or clear) in if there is enough hair to gather even if you have to make two little ones....some people use those really small clips with the teeth where you squeeze the back to open the teeth and when you let go they close together (they make them really tiny although they are made for humans)....I use tiny barrettes, The kind that are slightly rounded and when you push then in the middle they open and you close them by putting pressure on them and they snap back to their original form (hard to explain) I use two at a time, one lower to catch all the small hairs then one directly above it to hold the longer ones so they don't flop back over. They are the easiest to get in and out fairly quickly. Some people on here use a very small amount of vaseline to help smooth down the hairs that stick up into their eyes from their nose. Good luck! Where did you get your dog from? I don't know of too many breeders in MI, we could have siblings!

I got mine from a breeder in Clio witch is just outside of Flint. Howell is the next city west of Brighton. I have been to Owasso with some family members when we went camping. It is beautiful and peaceful there. I want another already too!! I've already started prepping my hubby with things like "Dori needs someone to play with when we are gone", and "wouldn't it be nice to have a boy too", and "when she is one I get to have another one!?!" so, after 6 more months of begging maybe I'll get another!! It would help if I could get her potty trained! We are almost there but we still have to watch her constantly! One day she will get it ...I hope
