| Puppy with Scabs!! Not sure what they are! I have just discovered after giving Jake a bath that he has about 4 penny size scabs on his skin...kind of clustered like. I have no idea what they are coming from. I gave him a bath last night and have noticed they are bigger today and he keeps scratching. I don't see any fleas on him so I'm not sure what this is. Has anyone ever seen this??? |

| My dog has scabs but he has allergies. It could be allergies or maybe ringworm. Do a search on ringworm cause thats what is sounds like to me.

| My Mickey also gets what you are describing, little patches, scabby, pretty gross looking under the hair. His come up in different areas. Mickey's are from allergies. The vet gives him some meds and they clear up.. I'm still not sure what he's allergic too, but they come and go.. I found he heals faster when I shave the area and treat it with the CllorHex 2X his vet gave us along with the medication. |

| My puppy had some scabs when she had an ear infection because she was scratching at her head a lot. I also just found out she's got food allergies so she has been scratching a lot from that too.
