| please help... I post a lot of inquiring threads, but I am so new to all of this. How much time a day does your pup need to play w/you??? I leave her home 5 hours a day by herself, but she always seems to want to play no matter what time it is to where I cant get anything else done ( like cook meals etc.) am I being to concerned? She follows me around every where and I feel like I need to be paying attention to her all the time. I dont want a spoiled pup, but at the same time I want a happy pup that knows how to play on her own. Thanks for any help. |

| Maybe you can find a toy that will entertain her. Sometimes it can be the strangest toy, like a lid from something. It doesn't have to be the most expensive toy or maybe a stuffed buddy she can drag around when you're not available. But in a nutshell, I would say they WANT LOTS of attention. She is a beautiful little girl, congratulations. |

| Well, first off there is no such thing as a non spoiled Yorkie... They are all spoiled and they know it. They do require a lot of attention. They seek out your attention. My Daisy licks my toes and trys to bite my legs while I am cooking dinner. I just ignore her when I have to, but she does get a ton of attention from me at all other times. |

| A Yorkie wanting attention????? They were born wanting attention. LOL All yorkies are spoiled, we wouldn't have it any other way. Sounds like you just need to find some toys she likes, or maybe a brother or sister She sure is cute!!!!

| I agree with the toy advice. Bella's pen in the living room is FULL of toys, lol, this way I can put her in there during the day while I need to get some work done and she'll amuse herself to the point of needing to take a nap! lol She gets a ton of attention at night, and I go in periodically when I can take a break and hold her and play with her a little bit, but thank GOODNESS this little girl loves to play with any and everything, lol.
