| Back from the vet Layla and I just got back from an hour long visit with her new vet. I am VERY pleased with him. He knew a lot about yorkies and was very helpful. Lately Layla has been scratching a lot so I asked him about it, and also mentioned she had a yeast infection in both ears when I got her at 10 weeks. He told me a yeast infection in a puppy that small makes him think food allergy right away. The other vet never mentioned that at all! He got me some new food, Medi-Cal hypoallergenic formula, and he also gave me some wet food. He said for treats to just cut the wet food into wafers and bake them, and then break them into little peices, or else put them in an ice cube tray and freeze them. He also pointed out to me that she's got a bit of an underbite. I hadn't noticed before, and the other vet didn't point it out either. He said it shouldn't bother her but I could never show her or anything, which i wouldn't anyway because I bought her as a pet, but it still made me a little mad at the breeder because I paid a lot of money for her... but I still love her anyway! Oh, and at 16 weeks, she now weighs 2.1 kg! I think she's going to be a little more than the 6 and a half pounds her breeder told me she'd be. Size isn't an issue to me though so i'm okay with it as long as she's healthy and happy! I'm gonna stick in some pictures now just because
