| Housebreaking issues Hi to all Yorkie lovers! My baby girl's name is Bealle and though she is the light of our life-(we have 2 white German Shepherds outside)-the housebreaking is about to kill us. I work some during the day and am home more than some working Moms, but my unpredictable schedule is causing some problems. Bealle will go outside to eliminate-but will just as soon go inside. I know that having a Christmas tree in every room over Christmas didn't help-she still eliminates everywhere there was a tree during December. If anyone has suggestions(the crate-thing just didn't work for us-she hates it-especially at night!) I know the pros say that we should jsut let them cry-letting my three kids cry was hard enough-I just could not stand listening to her for over an hour-she is very determined! Family has suggested jsut putting her outside (to be an outside dog)-that is just not an option-we have hawks, owls and other land dwelling wild animals in our area. The Shepherds can fend for themselves-Bealle would be a sitting duck! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. |
