| Female Humping?? Well, Its not really humping, More like climbing on his back! Bell who just turned 3, has started to hump or like I said climbing on Petey's back.. Petey doesn't seem to really mind it, but Bell is so much bigger, I'm afraid that Bell will hurt him. Is it dominance?? Or do you think there is something wrong?? When I tell her to stop she does and then the minute I turn my back she is right back to bothering him again!

| Yes it's dominance! That's just what they do. My two girls do it too to theie buddy Max - who really doesn't mind at all and Emma is a bit larger than he is also. In fact their for a while we wondered if we were ever going to get HIM interested in doing it the correct way himself! How much bigger is she? |

| Dominance! Gracie does it to Sampson all the time. It is one of her ways of showing him that she is the alpha dog. And before you ask, of course I have had the "Princesses don't hump" talk with her - it falls on deaf ears every time...

| It can be dominance, excitement or stress. I had a female was bad about doing it. It's pretty hard to break. What I did with my female was spray her with water even if she looks like she is about to hump one of my other dogs. |

| Nina likes her stuffed monkey, if you see her doing it, you can roll her right over then she humps unside down, which i like to call the rabbit kick. Patty and Nina |

| My neutered male has a stuffed dog that he humps daily. I have even taken this "stuffed dog" and put it in my closet in another room. Surprise! He found it and drug it back out to the frontroom so he can continue humping. AND - this stuffed little girl(?) is four times his size. I guess he's just in love! It certainly is his favorite toy. I'll have to tell you - if I am ever having company - this favorite little toy of his is hidden in the garage. At least until the company is gone...... Carol Jean |
