| I am a newbie here. I am a newbie here with a 16 week yorkie puppy. She is now 2.1 pounds and the vet says she's real healthy. She is trying to use her potty pads and is getting a little better. I wonder how long it will take. She is very cute and is a very good girl. |

| I wish I could take pictures but my camera is broken. I will have to get a new one soon. I don't want her to grow up too fast. |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. What is your new babies name? It can take time for the potty training, so have lots of patience and praise when she does good. Great news that she has received healthy praises from your vet!! Congratulations on your new girl. I look forward to seeing pictures.

| Her name is Bessie. My sister has a little girl yorkie and she's 4 years old and does good on the pads. She still has accidents, but she is so little and it's not much. I am hoping to have her trained to the pad in the next couple of months. |

| Hi and Welcome to YT Can't wait to see pictures of Bessie. Just be patient with the potty training, they all seem to have their own pace.

| Welocme to YT! Your baby is a like anewborn and it takes a while just like with human babies for them to develop bladder control. She sounds little too which means her bladderis tiny and fills up fast so be patient with her. It usually takes at least a year for a yorkie to be fully potty trained. But just be glad she is a tiny yorkie and not a bigger dog!! LOL...That is what I always remind myself. |
