| I know most of us know this but... I just read on another forum that I belong to, that someone lost their furbaby by leaving their collar on while they were not at home and he hung himself. How devastating and preventable, I was just in tears reading about it. Please remember not to leave anything on your baby when they are home alone. |

| That is really sad. Miko doesnt have that problem as he chews off anything around his neck. My brother breeds Pit Bulls, and he lost 2 of his fav pets to the choke collars. One over a fence, on on a chain outside that got caught on a stick. Very sad, he was devistated! |

| That happened to Brooke's little Mocha last spring! I couldn't even imagine coming home to find that. I buy the little breakaway collars made for cats. They have a little bell on them, so I can always hear where Dublin is, but they will pop off if they get pulled. Every couple of weeks it gets lost, so I keep spares... I don't keep one on Widget. One, Dublin yanks them off of her, and two, she's so small and dainty that the bell doesn't jingle when she walks..

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Very sad! No matter how many times people are warned about collars (especially when left on), people still use them and puppies and dogs suffer and die at their owner's ignorance. Very sad!
