| Worried! Is this normal? I run a ladies message board where a lady had a yorkie before and she told me its normal, but as always I wanted to come here to check first with yall... I just gave Taylah her bath and noticed when I was getting her out she has a little red bump (looks like a zit kinda ) on her head--you can only see it when she is wet, as I haven't noticed before.. The lady I know said it was normal and her's got them every once in a while and it's a *yorkie* thing.. Is this true and have yall heard about it? I'm worried about my little stinker!

| I've never experienced that unless Bouncer had fleas and had flea bites which on him would pop up in his privates as little red bumps that looked a lot like pimples.

| hummmmm I have not heard or seen anything like that. Do you think by chance it is serious enough to talk to your vet about? If I were you I would at least call your vet and inquire....We can never be too safe about our babies. |

| Well I know its not fleas, so thats out of the question. I am calling the vet tomorrow to see what's up. She is in time of her rabies shot anyways, since before she was still to little for it. Thanks!

| It could be a few different things - a bug bite, a mole, etc. My dog had something on his skin and when the vet saw it she told me it was a skin tag - that they have some of the same skin issues we do. Keep on eye on it, make sure it doesn't get worse and have your vet check it out next visit.

| That I don't know. I would guess they can be born with them or can get them any time just like us but I don't know for sure. Let us know what the vet says about whatever it is.

| Dont want to get you into a panic - but Sabrina had 2 bumps that started off like zits or one of those clear moles. I had them removed and one was pre-cancer. I just watched them and when they started making a change I got the vet to check them when we went in for shots. One was darker colored, the other kind of clear, skin colored. Just watch it. It could be a bite, a little "zit" from something she ate or shampoo etc. Just watch it. She's awful young to have a problem.
