| Just got back from Checkup Well, at least this visit went okay... Cash weighs 4lbs... he got his third set of shots.. the vet said that he left out the lepto because there tends to be too many reactions to that. He suggested that at 16 weeks or later on Cash gets the kennel cough vaccine because of going to training classes... He said that only one testicle dropped, and that they'll check it every time he comes in to make sure it drops... He said that he thought the Science Diet was ok food... He checked Cash's ears and said there was a little inflammation, no discharge.. so he put some drops in.. he said that the groomers are putting some sort of powder in the ears, and there's been a lot of dogs coming in with ear infections because of it... and they wormed him too, I forgot to take in a poop sample.. My mind was lost after the groomers lol... I had almost even forgot where I made his appt!!! I need more sleep hahahahah.. okay.. so what do ya'll think... think this guy knows his stuff? oh yeah, he also suggested that I wait till Cash is a little older before he microchips.. he said he feels bad for littler dogs, he said he doesn't like having to poke them more than they need to be. And suggested he gets neutered... okay... so there's that.. any opinions? They were very friendly as well...

| Sounds like everything went well. He checked for all the right things & it seems like he has Cash's best interest in mind. I don't think you have anything to worry about & I'm glad that everything check out ok!

YT Addict | Think the micochip is a must, neutering also if your not planning on using him as a stud and be sure to keep a close eye as to the dropping of the testical. Hug's and kiss's to Cash.

| Great checkup Okay so you asked for opinion and these are just my opinion..take em or leave them.. 1. Science Diet Food - No/lots of threads on good food- depending which one but to much grain or artifical colors/preservativesIMHO. 2. Micro-chip (ouch - big needle) is best done when being neutered and having baby teeth checked 3. Testicle might never drop so when they do his neuter they will have to open him up a little more..not the end of the world but your vet is right to watch 4. I am not a groomer but I do groom the 10 of mine and I don't understand the powder? I don't use it. I bet the vet also said you had one special little dog

1. Yeah I read about different foods.. so yeah, I told him I was going to switch him over to Innova.. he said he hasn't heard a lot about Innova...I told him what I've read on here about it. 2&3. That's what he said... 4. Said some groomers put stuff in their ears because of water, said he's gotten some dogs in after going to groomer and thus had ear infections.. ??? me too dunno... Said he was a good boy.. he didn't like getting that shot, but he did awesome!!!

| I am so glad everything went well. He is a very special little guy. I kind of figured he would have some ear issues after the grooming incident. she didn't seem like she would care too much about whether she got water in the ears or not. sounds like a caring vet. did he take his time with the visit and listen to your questions and answer them without trying to make you look like a fool? (LOL, that is how my old vet was.) You did good Tashia give Cash special hugs today for me. Tell him NANA loves him.
