| Leave water down or not?? My question is this, Daisy is doing extremely well with potty training has now started to bark if you has to go, but with pee pee she has a few more accidents. Should I not leave her water down all day long. I am always home so it's not a question of her not getting to drink. I could go in every couple hours and give her water.. I have been leaving water down always. What is the best way to help with pee pee accidents?? Thanks! |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I always had water down 24/7 from day one......Chanel trained in less than 2 weeks - Cheri was more like 9 months - so each yorkie can be very different in how fast they train.....I know some people will ration out the water...but I never had a training problem leaving it down with Chanel....and as I said - Cheri was a whole different story ! |

Chanel played hockey in the FOOD and Water dish when she was a baby and made HUGE messes - but I was always right there - From a puppy she loved the water...maybe that's why she's such a water monster now ? Here she is as a tiny puppy - she was SO funny ~!

| I take water away Just before bedtime I pick Wosie's water up, and she has no water in her crate at night. This cuts back night time accidents considerably!
