| Sounds like Tibbe! He sticks his fuzzy little face between mine and the phone while I'm talking(except on business - never interferes during those conversations, but especially wants to involve himself if the conversation turns to dogs. He gets really excited when I 'talk dogs' to anyone, wiggles his whole body and thrust his little puss right between me and the phone repeatedly, dog laughing with his mouth open, panting happily and acting thrilled! Somehow he knows when we're talking about him or dogs in general, even if I never mention his name or say the word 'dog'! How can he ALWAYS tell? I've tried fooling him, using the same tone of voice and persona, body language as when I'm 'talking dogs' to my sister or my son when I'm talking about whatever else but he doesn't respond the same. I swear Tibbe understands English and can tell when we're talking about him or his kind! It's positively uncanny! These little 4-legged buddies of ours never fail to amaze!

Scottie is always doing the bashful look when he knows I'm talking about him. Like, "Oh, who me? I'm the cutest good boy in the whole wide world? nah... but really, I know. I know I am."
