| Difference between boys and girls? I'll cut to the chase. There have been clear cut situations where Chewie has been COMPLETELY protective of me. Lately when I've been sleeping on my tummy off and on with ice in an attempt to calm my legs down, she's been my own personal guard duty. If I sleep on my back, forget that. NO ONE is allowed near me. My girl has a foot fetish, heh. She's frequently nipped my daughter for getting too close. It's always when I'm in a lot of pain. I can tell when she 'll "correct" the behavior due to how frantically she's licking my feet. The faster it is, the angrier she is. I have to put socks on them and man that makes her furious. I was sleeping one time and dan watched with amusement as she worked for an hour to remove a sock to get to licking. I woke up to a happy and content furball and a soggy foot. She' taken it upon herself to bathe my legs, too. The funny girl won't lick my cheek. No, not that. But feet and legs are her domain. I stopped questioning and now just laugh. No, not any one else. Just me. She'll take a swipe at husband and daughter as a HI, guys!!! Every morning, each person gets a puppy howl (still, I'm so happy about it) and a swipe. I'll get a grunt, a few huffs if I don't give her a snack right away, and lots of feet licks. She'll point, too. We are going to be rounding out our family. We want my daughter to have a few more years first, due to just how many times she's left things out and Chewie has suffered for it. We've been in contact with a highly recommended parti yorkie breeder. I want to establish a good relationship first and then when the time comes, put down a deposit to get a say in the tail docking. I thought a boy would be a great fit, but of course, youtube and many other platforms show the devotion chewie has to me being mere child's play compared to a boy. I saw one outright attack a woman's husband for touching her arm. I was wondering what the differences were. Thanks, and sorry for the long post, wanted to be clear. |
