| Static Yorkie? Emma's has been a walking Static Ball lately. Any suggestions on how I can stop it despite how awfully cute it is? I've seen on google for humans add a lil oil, hair spray on a comb and dryer sheets. Any suggestions for dogs?

| Cody sports a puppy cut but has a full face of long hair and long hair on his ears and he's a ball of static , it's so funny when he sticks his head out from under the blankets, his entire head looks likes a person that stuck their finger in an elec. socket lol

| So I've learned that in Winter, when we have the heat on and there's less humidty in the air the electricity from our bodies and movement causes more static than what we usually see. Yesterday I just took a lil coconut oil and rubbed it along Emma. It helped and since I didn't put a lot she isn't greasy or oily looking.

| Casie loves to rub her face in the blankets and always has static hair. Here's a pic of my silly bunny with her hair flying everywhere https://www.instagram.com/p/BOSRoWlB...ttie.and.casie

| Emma and Casie are both adorable fighting the electricity! We use Vellus anti-stat brushing spray. It's lightweight and doesn't make a mess. I have using it on my own hair. This has been a tough winter. Our static problems are the worst in the car.

| Talking about static, I have longgg hair and my hair is full of static this year in the car is even worse. I also was wondering if it's because of these frigid temps I have the furnace on higher temp. then I have ever had it on.

This is the very reason . For humans try a dryer sheet or take some hair spray , spray it on a comb and rub through your hair . A lil oil helps too but i know some people don’t like it. It helps to add a lil moisturewhich prevents the static .

| Thanks for the hair spray tip, I just bought some to get ball point ink off my friends light beige carpet.
