| Needs more exercise My Gidget will be 2 in January and she's a bundle of energy. I get her out 2 or 3 times a day for a walk around our apartment complex. I put her on a longer leash (her regular leash connected with the extendable (?) leash which gives her the freedom to run around a little. These walks are 25-30 minutes each. On rainy days, it's just a short walk for her to do her business. Any ideas for more exercise in doors. My apartment is small (525 sqft) so there's not much running around room. Does anybody have this same situation? Suggestions PLEASE. |

| My little ones love the laser pointer. Dog puzzles also keep their mind active which burns energy.

| Walks are thee best for Piper and when we miss, I pay with a pestering, pushy Piper. She's never really played so when she has extra energy she wants my attention and wants to do something, but not that, not that...(like a little kid, I think). Piper enjoys tug-o-war or gnawing on a chew when there's nothing else to do...Piper below ready for action! |

| You can find them in the cat section at the stores. You just kinda use it on the floor and they chase it.

| I've seen videos of dogs who are trained to use human treadmills. Hehe.. a treadmill for small dogs sounds really cute though.

| They actually make them. I had one for Callie when she was rehabbing from LP and ACL surgery because is was snowy and very cold. I had no room for full size one. Worked well for her but the others hated it.
