Owning a dog adds years to your life https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog...-your-lifespan Trisha McNair, MD, who has extensively studied the relationship between lifestyle and longevity estimates that dog ownership adds about two years to your life. And science backs her up. The American Heart Association has found that dog ownership lowers the incidence of cardiovascular disease and speeds recovery from heart attacks. Other research has shown that petting a dog lowers people’s heart rate and blood pressure. |

They forgot to mention all the added stress from worrying over things like poop being too soft or too hard, did the eat, why are they scratching, they are not sleeping, they are sleeping too much, they aren't playing, they are playing too much (it might burst their little hearts), are they drinking enough water......the list is endless :D:D:D:D:D |

The only thing I really worry about is Dexter biting someone visiting :( |
My Lollie and Lacie help complete my life. The girls bring me more joy than I ever imagined a tiny bit of fluff ever could. |
My daughter just started high school so there’s this realization that it’ll just be me and Emma in a few years. I just so happened to look at Emma this morning in admiration almost bc she’s such a sweetie. Despite the stresses that come with being a pet parent and skin mom I do believe having pets add value to your life. |
