| So happy, doing the asnoopy dance! Today I just got Cali's latest blood work after spending several days in the ICU at the Emergency Vet Hospital (Blue Pearl) with a severe bout of pancreatitis three weeks ago. It was the only incident she has had. The lab work is WONDERFUL! A little low in the thryroid area, but will retest in 6 months. They are recommending that we stay on that nasty smelling prescription diet, but with the help of a bit of boiled chicken, we can do that! Really feel like we ducked a bullet...and thank goodness for pet insurance!! Thanks to all who sent good vibes and prayer

| Jay, I am so very sorry to hear that sweet little Cali was having health issues. Singing praises that all is well. Cali is one of most favorite yorkies (not counting my two of course). |

| So happy she is feeling better! Pancreatitis is a mean, nasty monster that raises it's head once our pups get older, Cheyenne has it also. I watch her diet very carefully. Fats is the biggest no-no and fats are hard to even find on lots of human foods. Did they give you a diet?

| Yes they gave me Royal Canin in the can and Hills kibbles, all fat free. She is not too fond of the food and it smells awful 🤧, but if that is what keeps her healthy we will do it. I rarely ever gave her people food - maybe a little bit of cheese and some lowfat cottage cheese but no other people food. I sneak a tiny little bit of ground up chicken in it and she goes for that smell! Actually her lab work was great so we are taking it this way for a while. I see her energy building back up each weak. Haven't gone back to agility yet but she has used the teeter a couple times in the back yard, on her own, so she seems interested in it. Of course, I am interested in hearing from anyone who has experienced this. Since her labs were back to normal I asked if she could go back on her old food and the vet said probably not - once they have a bout they are usually on the special diet for life. We can live with that !!!

| I am very glad the lab results were good news. I know what it is like to wait on lab results and the waiting can be pure agony.

| Yep, could sleep that night, but was lucky that had the results the next day! And then to find out that everything was within normal limits! Felt so blessed!
