Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | You can give a bath any time - just make sure you blow dry and keep him warm immediately after the bath.

| Just don't let them get to cold and if you blow dry them make sure not to burn them.

| He needs to go to the vet he could have an ear infection. At this point if he has fleas and was in your house you have some big issues because more then likely your house is now infested. I would wash him in dawn and get him to the vet.

| Fabian (now 7 nearly months) is TERRIFIED of the blowdryer since we brought him home at 13 weeks, so we keep the house warm when we bathe him and use a still-warm-from-the-dryer towel to blot off as much water as we can. Then he gets the zoomies and rolls around in his blanket to get "dog smell" back on him. After that, he's almost totally dry. |

| omg, poor thing... at 8 weeks your puppy was kept outside? I would also agree to take him to the vet for sure to have fleas or any potential ear infections treated.

| When giving a bath make sure to keep water out of the ears as much as possible. My vet gave me a perscription solution to put in my Yorkies ears after bathing because he was getting a waxy buildup. |
