| My dog is a yorkie.... right?! Hello, we recently adopted our dog Teddy from a local animal shelter. He is 8 months old and so so cute! This forum has been so helpful so far, so thank you for that 😊 Anyway, my question is does he look like full yorkie to you? I honestly don't mind but as curious as thought he was full yorkie but now think he may be mixed with a chi due to his ears? We love him so much 😍 Any opinions would be appreciated! Hopefully I've attached his pic! |

| What a doll! Beautiful little sweet, fair face. Looks full bred Yorkie to me. Most purebred Yorkies have small, v-shaped, erect, not too-wideset ear leathers but lately see more and more with larger, erect ear leathers. Your baby looks pretty typical of the precious pet Yorkie the whole world has come to adore! You were very blessed to have found and adopted him from a shelter - and thank you for saving him!!!!!!! Congratulations on your new baby boy!

| Welcome to YT, you have one adorable lil yorkie. My boy has huge ears as did my now past girl. I love huge ears. If you want them to look smaller just let the hair on his ears grow. I would like to thank you for rescuing.

| He looks yorkie to me but it's almost impossible to tell what breed a dog is by a picture. Welcome though and he is very cute.

| Oh, so adorable. He looks like a yorkie to me!!! I want to add my thanks to adopting as well. I haven't, but I know plenty of people who rescue. One of my favorite dogs I knew growing up was a rescued "Mutt" named Missy. Sweetest baby I've known. |

| Thank you so much everyone! We know we have been so lucky with him! He was there with his 2 brothers and we wished we could have took them all, although all have now been rehomed 😍 He's so precious to us - yorkies are my fave breed! Thanks again for the advice! I love his big ears and long legs haha |
