LOUD Noises! WoW! I am so amazed how well my Muffin did during the 4th of July. She only startled once when a BIG boom went off on our street. Neighbors love their fireworks. I try not to ruin it for others but if it gets out of hand, my husband will go speak to them about moving down the street. Anyway... Muffin was so good and the noises didn't bother her at all. She is only 4 months old. She is not deaf because she comes when I call her name and she hears the doorbell. She is just one li'l scrapper because big noises just don't bother her at all and she is so brave. Not afraid of anything, even my husband and sons which are over 6 feet tall. I just feel so blessed to own such a lovely little girl. I hope she stays brave her whole life.

How sweet......I wish I had half the courage and bravery my Duchess has. Unfortunately, I have to protect her from bravery when she thinks she is brave enough to take on a 100lb dog

Our five month puppy did great, too. Then last night, I noticed that he'd chewed the ***ears only*** off 4-5 of his stuffed toys... (I check the toys for damage every few days). Go figure.

See attached photo of the gnawed off ears, after I cut off the excess fabric. (Sometimes, it's NOT always better to be Batman!<g>) Great possible explanation: I'll tell my hubby that's why Fabian was trying to bite HIS ear off, too!<g>

Our pup used to teeth on any nubs like ears, short tails, or protruding noses on her stuffed toys.
