| Flying w Pippin First time flying with Allegiant and with Pippin in May. Their underseat dimensions for a pet carrier are: 19" deep; 16" width; 9" high. I called and said most of the carriers online are 10.5 inches high. The customer service rep stated that as long as it was soft sided, 10.5 inches is fine. If you have flown, what was the pet carrier and size that you used? Pippin is 8 lbs, but tall. At the shoulder she is 9 inches. Thanks for all the help.

| I use the Sleepypod Air for Wall-e. It's 10 inches tall and fits fine. Wall-e is 5.5lbs and has plenty of room in it. It is pricey, but well worth it. He's the most comfortable person on the plane!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I have a Celltei that I really love - very well designed for pet travel! Check their sale section for close-out pricing on certain styles.

| I use a Smartcart. It has a pedestal with wheels that is detachable, a shoulder strap and a handle. It's 10 inches without the wheels. 13 inches with. Plenty of room for 4 1/2 lb Sadie. |
