I need help, I gave my small 4# yorkie trifexis last month and that made her really sick so, told the vet my concerns for her so, he gave me bravecto , I haven't given it to her yet. Decided to read a bit about it and everyone says bad things so, now I don't know what to do. If you have a small size yorkie what do you all use .. so worried. She is so healthy and I don't want to give hersomethingthat is goingto make her sick or worse give her something that is going to kill her please need some advice |

| Trifexis is very dangerous and can be deadly. I like nexguard for fleas and ticks and then heartguard for heartworms.

| I have a 4 lb. male and 6 lb. female...they both get sentinel and advantix so we are preventing heartwork and flea and ticks. I stagger them 2 weeks apart. I haven't had any reactions from either of them!

| Trifexis has a reputation of being problematic for many pups. My Cali is just 4 pounds and we use Revolution because it is dosed by weight. Hope you find what works for you!

| Topicals go in the blood stream just like a pill would so I would go with something like nexguard.
