| Help! I'm an anxious mommy! Dear Friends: My husband and I have to go out-of-town for about 10 days and I am having terrible anxiety about my Yorkie baby, Samson. He's a very healthy, 4-month-old cutie with a great disposition. But I'm worried because this is the first time I have ever gone out-of-town leaving such a young dog. My dogs have always been adults when I have had to leave. Mind you, we have a very dear, responsible dog-lover friend staying with our dogs (we have a Sheltie, as well). My concern is that little Samson has been getting a lot of love and nurturing from me 'cause he's a baby, and I'm worried he might get despondent while I'm gone because he's so young. I would appreciate some encouragement at this point, since we have no choice about having to travel. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Awwww, I totally get your worry! I'm the same way. Be assured that everything will be a-okay...especially bc he is so young - puppies will likely miss you less than if they were adults, to be totally honest. Just make sure you're very clear about safety issues with very small puppies.

| I have a feeling he'll turn to the Sheltie for comfort and all will be fine. However, I empathize with you completely as I am the same with Piper! He'll probably fare better than you (anxiety-wise)!!!! |
