Left ear tip down suddenly? Normal? Uh, she has a lot more hair than usual, and I'm guessing it's because she's past due for a cut. Her groomer has a full time job and is available every 6 weeks now only. I missed this past one. Last trim was end of December. It's adorable to see so much hair, though. Any inquiry leads me to people asking if they are puppies, not an adult.

How old is she ? She may still teething. Also, smell in her ear to be sure she's not developing an ear infection.

she's 15 months. She's been very calm lately- more so than usual. I smelled her ears yesterday, nothing- but will when she's home from her walk, too. The vet did see a baby tooth. Not sure how the doc missed that, either. She's been spayed. It's possible she might be getting a new tooth under that. It's usual for these guys to calm down at this age, correct? Shes' always been a calm snuggle bug- as long as you aren't holding her. She's just not initiating play as much as previous months. Makes me think what you're saying- ear infection- might actually be a culprit as I type this out. They didn't check her for that on Saturday, as she was sick with another bout of gastro.

Monroe has an ear that will fall a little occasionally. Mainly when she's not feeling well, is way overtired or if I let the hair on her ears grow too much. I trim her ear tips on my own using a small battery operated trimmer. You may try that to see if it helps the ear stand. But, if she's having some tummy upset or an ear infection that could definitely be the culprit too.

Yes she's outgrowing puppyhood. If her ears smell clean then I would guess it's teething. If at 15 months this is a new thing then they will most likely go back up after she's through teething.
