| Im upset Im upset about the tiny thread. That shouldnt have even turned into an issue. A lot of feelings were hurt and I am not even sure how it led to that. Someone said on that thread that they feel like YT is turning into a forum that stresses tinies are better, But I feel its the complete opposite and I feel like tinies and there owneres are shunned. And I feel if you happen to own one that you are frowned upon. I was not even looking for a yorkie the day I came accross chloe and when I saw her I knew I couldnt live without her. Yes she was small which probobly added to her "cuteness" but I didnt buy her because the breeder said she was a teacup or a tiny (which he never said that, Im just making a point). I bought her because I fell in love with her. And yes a year later she is still small, and I like that, but I shouldnt have to be ashamed of that. Ive noticed that people on here who have yorkies that are tad larger than the standard yorkie, really enjoy their furbabies size and they like to celebrate or have funny threads joking about it and I enjoy reading those threads. But this isnt allowed if your yorkie is smaller than the standard yorkie. So are you guys telling me I should feel ashamed of my yorkie's size and of myself for owning one? Because thats the message I am getting. (I know none of the issues in the tiny thread was directed at me, I am speaking as a person that owns a smaller yorkie and I how I feel about the overall feelings I get on this forum sometimes) Maybe Im just sensitive.

| Very well said Shana. I feel the same way. It's as if people who own smaller than standard yorkies are to keep quiet because otherwise we're considered snotty, elite or ignorant. Tensions were rising in the other thread but I just wish that people would stay out of threads that they don't like. Why come on, hijack the thread and ruin everyone elses fun. Just for kicks here's a pic of my tiny baby Coco. Shana I want some new pics of Chloe.

| Don't guess I got to the tiny thread. My She-ra is a little over 4 lbs.

| i'm confused, did the thread on owning a tiny turn ugly and get whacked? i'm surprised that such a subjective thread would take a wrong turn. i think the breed, size, sex, price, etc etc of your furbaby is a personal decision. there's no wrong or right, there's no better or worse. there's only the celebration of having a little furry companion (nothing against those naturally without fur ) that you love and spoil. |

| I dont have a tiny but My Husband says I can get one after we move into our next house. So I have a year or two to wait. I love seeing the pictures and reading the stories of everyone that has a tiny though. I hope no one got their feelings hurt I think all yorkies are darling. When I get my tiny I will have one tiny one that is standard and one that is above the standard.

Shana...people will fall in love with what grabs their heart...small or big...if you love that she's small..then enjoy that part of her! You don't have to qualify to ANYONE why you chose the puppy you chose...and I'm sorry you're feelings are hurt...since when is it a character flaw to love something thats small and cute? Geez...if babies we're not born small and cute..we'd be in BIG trouble! Francie

| Yes the thread turned bad when people felt "left out" or "hurt" Because a thread about tinies was started. It was a great thread of people posting pictures and stories about their tinies, much the same that people with larger yorkies do. But it's ok we can still post our stories and pictures here about our tiny babies. I for one, am not ashamed to own and love my tiny girl and she'd still be the love of my heart even if she was 100lbs. I'm a proud momma.

| I know exactly what you are saying about falling in love. My Sophie is a 10lb girl with an underbite and when I saw her i fell in love. I don't think size should be important but for some reason people really get upset about it. I have had my feelings hurt a time or two because Sophie is big. So I don't think it matters what size they are there will always be someone to bring you down. Your Chloe is adorable and I love all the tiny Yorkies. |

VERY well said! I believe the size of the yorkie is irrelevant as long as the baby is healthy, loved, spoiled, adored, and well taken care of. We all LOVE our babies regardless of size and that is what is important!

| Wow, I always miss every controversial thread but after I read them I feel like YT is going in the wrong direction and I am glad I missed them. The one about Cesar's food turned nasty among others. The problem is opinions are like a##ho##s, everyone has one and sometimes they stink. I am sorry your feelings are hurt. I have a tiny too, 4lbs on a good day. Don't let anyone make you feel bad!!!!!!!! I agree with Francie, you don't have to justify your baby to anyone. |

| I think it is a shame that such a cute thread turned ugly. As I stated before I have a 9 lb boy and the tiny girl. I couldn't love or be prouder of my Rio, he is the light of my life. And I feel the same about my Mignon. If Mignon weighed 9 lbs I would still be thrilled with her! I LOVE MY DOGS NOT THEIR WEIGHT. I just couldn't fit my Rio on the tiny thread LOL!!! |

I think sophie is absolutely gorgeous. I was looking at pictures you posted on another thread and just thought she was so absolutely beautiful. IMO Size doesnt matter at all and it certainly wont change how I feel about my babies. My chihuahua is a little bigger than most and sometimes I even get ignorant people that try to tell me she is not a chihauhua. You just got to ignore those people because I wouldnt change a thing about my girls. Big or small they are the best furkids anyone could ever ask for.
