| Yap Yap Yap Like so many of you my new Yorkie won't stop barking when left alone. Living in a Condo I have people over me and beside me. If I can't find a solution to the noise the Condo Assoc. could force me to get rid of the dog ? Going to try the Kong treatment, leaving the TV on, and possibly getting RX from the Vet. Will let you know what happens in the near future. |

| Wylie's Mom often recommends the Bark Genie collar; she is a wise and wonderful woman. Maybe you could check with her as to whether or not your situation is right for using it... |

| Do you leave the TV or radio on when you are gone!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It if means you may have to get rid of your dog, then I'd try an anti-bark device or a bark collar. Never, EVER use the "shock" portion of any collar on a yorkie....just use the beep or the vibration.

| I got one with just the beep and vibration on it so no prongs and it worked great for lily we found we only turned the vibration on a couple of times and after that as long as she was wearing it she was quiet. She also learned how to talk to us with out she high pitch barking it was well worth the 30$ |

| Mybellababy - would you mind sharing what kind of collar you got? Thank you! parkerrk - my Odin used to bark whenever we left the apartment too, but thankfully he grew out of it. We still need to leave him with a Kong, and we give it to him just right when we leave, saying "mommy will be back ok!" and he seems to understand now that he's not being abandoned. I think he got it when he was around 10 months old. Good luck!! I know it can get frustrating and you don't want to annoy the neighbors! |

| It's called Essentials By Pettags I look at both amazons and I cant find it . I got it at a store here in Canada called Canadian Tire , there is no name on the collar but its red with a round paw print on it , the red part is 2x1 inch and the band is black. |

| If you can't find it and, as 'mybellababy' mentioned it was at Canadian Tire, I would be happy to check it out for you and see how much it would be to send along. Fyi- live in western Canada. Kindly let me know if that helps you any? Cheers! Last edited by JuliannaB; 03-26-2017 at 06:50 AM. |

| As I drop into this 'identity' from time to time, I thought I'd go ahead and phone Canadian Tire. The lady in the pet dept. said that she couldn't see what I was describing. I'll check back in a couple of days to see if there is anything more on this thread. |
