| Puppy's Coat Hello, my name is Cindy and I am a first time female yorkie owner. I got my puppy Khaleesi on December 16, my mother purchased a male yorkie as well. I was told my yorkie was 9 weeks going on 10 and my mom's was 8 weeks old. Anyway I noticed right away that my puppy's coat look slightly different compared to other yorkie pups. To be honest her hair looks a little damaged, like she got a bad bleach job lol. I was wondering if this is normal and if there are any products that you can recommend for grooming. I will post a pic of our male puppy as well so that you can see the difference. Any help is appreciated thanks. First 2 pics and last one are of my pup. 3rd pic is of my mom's pup. As you can see there is a big difference in their coats. FYI I am not complaining about my puppy's coat I just want to make sure it is normal, my mother thinks maybe the previous owner did not take care of her as well. |

| Aw she's so pretty!! I love her look. I'm not an expert or anything but I think once her adult coat start growing it'll all look better. That coat will change a lot in her lifetime so don't worry 😁

| Your baby is adorable. Yorkie puppy coat can be kind of wild and hard to tame. It can look like split ends for the first few months. Some Yorkies can also have cotton coat, which is 'softer' than the standard silk and more prone to tangling and breakage. At such a young age, it's hard to say what kind of adult coat a pup will have. Usually the adult coat is set by one year of age, but sometimes they can continue to change. My Teddy's coat was still changing at age 2 in texture. Color continued to change on my boys until about age 4. A good shampoo and conditioner made for dogs helps any coat. Testing is the only way to figure out what works best on your pup. Water type and weather can also influence what will work best.

She gives a 10% discount via refund to YT members. Type in the comment area of your order your YT screen name. Names of a few brands I like in general: Bio-Groom Pet Silk Tropiclean Spa Lavish Vellus (they sell retail from their own website, try the sampler first) Isle of Dogs Espree

Thank you very much. I already purchased some isle of the dogs, the tearless puppy shampoo. I wanted to buy conditioner but since it has a specific scent don't really want to mix up the scents too much | |

| Hello, everyone. Nice discussion going on. Aw, your dog is looking so pretty. I have a pet and I can understand your problem. In my suggestion, you can check Posh Puppy Boutique store, here you can find some good quality on pet products. I have already used some of the products of it. Hope it will help you. |
