| Short Hair Yorkie My Rocko Benji has short hair. I got him from a woman who purchased him for her daughter however, she was not able to keep him and blessed me with him. I notice many of the Yorkies I have seen on the posts have long hair. Should I expect his hair to grow or is there such a things as short hair Yorkies? |

| His hair should grow. I get my yorkies groomed every 6 weeks or so and keep their hair cut short which is called a puppy cut. Congrats on your yorkie he should have you wrapped around his paw shortly

| Thank you I was worried he would stay this way. I think it's cute but I would much prefer the long hair. And to answer your question, he has me wrapped around his paws. I am in absolute heaven with him. thank you for responding. |

I also keep my boy in a puppy cut this way I can mush him all up and not worry about tangles in his hair lol. Congrats on your new baby.

| I wouldn't worry about it. My very first Yorkie's coat never really grew. But, it was fine, she was still a cutie pie, and we saved a lot of money on grooming. All she was required was a bath and a good brushing. Quote:
