| Sick puppy!! Can anyone help? So yesterday my 5 month old puppy all of a sudden stoop playing and started acting really drunk. Like he would stand still with all four feet on the ground but his body would still move and then he acted like he wanted to jump up on the couch but his head was bobbing like he couldn't keep it still. I took him to the vet and they said something about a possible liver shunt. He was also very lethargic. |

| It does sound like it could be liver shunt. What else did the vet say? Will they be doing tests?

| The vet did some blood work as well as checked his sugar all that was fine other than his cholesterol was low. His sugar was normal. He is doing fine right now. I'm taking him back Tuesday for more blood test. |

| That sounds very scary!! I hope your little one will be okay. The drunken description sounded familiar to my friend's Yorkie who somehow ate some marijuana during her walk in the park. I'm assuming your 5 month old was at home?

| Well the vet called today and told me that his liver test was abnormal that she thinks he had a liver shunt, so I'm waiting for her to call me back now to see exactly where we go from here. |
